The festival of Karwa Chauth, which comes just after Dussehra and before Diwali is a long followed tradition in India and to celebrate it, women observe a day-long fast for the long life of their beloved husbands.
As Sonam Kapoor and husband Anand Ahuja celebrate their first Karwa Chauth after their wedding, they shared some lovey-dovey pictures on Instagram.
Earlier on Saturday, the couple took to social media and shared how they are prepping for their first Karwa Chauth.
They posted photos of them having applied mehendi on their palms as their Instagram story. They both got heart designs on their palms with Sonam adding alphabets AS to hers.
For many years, Sonam's mother called many celebs at her house to celebrate Karwa Chauth.

On the work front, Sonam is currently working on her upcoming film The Zoya Factor with Dulquer Salmaan as the male lead. Sonam will also be seen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga which is due to release in February. The movie also features Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles and is being helmed by Shelly Chopra Dhar.
