Arjun Reddy, the Telugu movie which became a trendsetter in the Indian film industry is being remade in Hindi with Shahid Kapoor playing the lead.
In Telugu Arjun Devarakonda had played the role of Arjun Reddy and overnight he became a star (even though he was recognised earlier too, he became a heartthrob of South Indian audiences soon after the movie's success).
Now, expectations are high on Shahid, who is getting into the character.

The flick deals with love, break-up and what effect drugs can have on relationships and the person.
This is a movie of raw emotions and after the powerful performance in Hyder, there is no doubt that Shahid will successfully step into Arjun Kapoor's shoes.
The shooting will start in September and Sandeep Vanga is directing the movie.
