At Beauty Con LA, Priyanka Chopra was accused of being a hypocrite by a Pakistani woman. The actress had tweeted in favour of Indian defence forces after Balakot attack in February this year.

Actress Priyanka Chopra was at a public event in Los Angeles, during the weekend, where a Pakistani woman from the audiance called her a 'hypocrite' for favouring and tweeting in favour of the Indian Army despite being a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador.

The woman also accused the actress of "encouraging nuclear war against Pakistan," while she spoke from the audience at the Beautycon event in the US. Priyanka on February 26 had taken to Twitter to congratulate the Indian Air Force after Indian fighter jets attacked the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM)'s terrorist camp at Balakot in Pakistan. "Jai Hind #IndianArmedForces," Priyanka's tweet read.

In a video on social media from the Beautycon Los Angeles event, a woman sitting in the audience is seen asking Priyanka if she was a Pakistani, while pointing fingers at Priyanka's intentions. Check out the video here:

That Pakistani girl who jumped was very disrespectful! smh i was supposed to be the next one to ask a question but she ruined it for all pic.twitter.com/KrLWsLEACa

She addressed Priyanka Chopra and said, "As a Goodwill Ambassador, you are encouraging nuclear war against Pakistan. People like me have supported you in your business’s."

To that, Priyanka responded, "I have many, many friends from Pakistan and I am from India. War is not something I'm really fond of, but I am patriotic, so I'm sorry if I hurt the sentiments of people who do love me and have loved me."

"But I think that all of us have a, sort of, middle ground that we all have to walk. Just like you probably do as well. The way that you came at me right now... girl, don't yell. We're all here for love," she added.

This video went viral and was picked by many international and national media houses, who praised PeeCee for handing the allegation, while maintaining composure.

But, the Pakistani woman, Ayesha Malik, later took to Twitter and shared her views, blaming Priyanka for turning the narrative against her and making her the "bad guy".

Hi, I’m the girl that “yelled” at Priyanka Chopra.

It was hard listening to her say, “we should be neighbors and love each other” — swing that advice over to your PM.

Both India and Pakistan were in danger. And instead she tweeted out in favor for nuclear war.

It took me back to when I couldn’t reach my family because of the blackouts and how scared/helpless I was.

She gaslit me and turned the narrative around on me being the “bad guy” — as a UN ambassador this was so irresponsible.

The woman shared videos from the event, accompanying each one of them with messages. One of her tweets read, "Hi, I’m the girl that “yelled” at Priyanka Chopra. It was hard listening to her say, “we should be neighbors and love each other” — swing that advice over to your PM. Both India and Pakistan were in danger. And instead she tweeted out in favor for nuclear war (sic)."

Priyanka Chopra tweeted during a time when we were this 👌🏽 close to sending nukes to one another. Instead of advocating for peace she tweeted in support of the Indian army pic.twitter.com/LhbMkOW59v
