Tamannaah Bhatia, the renowned actress, recently delighted her fans by unveiling the first look of her character in the upcoming film 'Odela 2' on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri. Directed by Ashok Teja and produced by D. Madhu, 'Odela 2' promises to be a captivating supernatural thriller set in Varanasi.

In the revealed poster, Tamannaah Bhatia is depicted as a devout follower of Lord Shiva, adorned in a maroon and orange salwar suit. Holding a damru in one hand and a thread-covered stick in the other, with her forehead adorned with holy tilak, Bhatia exudes an aura of spiritual immersion as she walks barefoot along what seems to be one of the ghats in Varanasi. The caption accompanying the poster reads, 'I am glad to be revealing the first look on this auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri. Har Har Mahadev! Happy Maha Shivaratri.' It further hints at her character portrayal as 'Shiva Shakthi'.

The storyline of 'Odela 2' revolves around the fictional village of Odela, where the protagonist, 'Odela Mallanna Swamy,' emerges as a true savior protecting the village from malevolent forces. The film is a sequel to the 2022 Telugu crime thriller 'Odela Railway Station,' created by Sampath Nandi and produced by D. Madhu, both of whom are also associated with 'Odela 2.'

The cast of 'Odela 2' includes Tamannaah Bhatia alongside Hebah Patel, Vasishta N Simha, Surender Reddy, Naga Mahesh, Vuva, Vamshi, Bhupal, Gagan Vihari, and Pooja Reddy. The film boasts cinematography by Soundar Rajan S and music by Ajaneesh Loknath of Kantara fame, with Rajeev Nair serving as the art director.

'Odela Railway Station,' the prequel to 'Odela 2,' premiered on the OTT platform Aha on August 26, 2022, garnering significant acclaim. Buoyed by its success, 'Odela 2' is being produced on a larger scale, hinting at a potential theatrical release. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the release date as of now.
