New Delhi: Ahead of his nuptials with actor Priyanka Chopra, American singer Nick Jonas has arrived in the country. The couple kickstarted their wedding festivities with a Thanksgiving dinner yesterday in New Delhi.
The couple is slated to tie the know according to Hindu customs on December 2 at Umaid Bhawan Palace followed by a Christian wedding on December 3. The mehendi and sangeet ceremonies will be held on November 29 and 30 at the same venue.
PeeCee's mom, Madhu Chopra, was also spotted landing in Jodhpur to last week to oversee the wedding preparations. The bride is expected to wear an outfit by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla for her Hindu wedding, and a Ralph Lauren ensemble for the Christian ceremony.
The wedding invitations have already been sent out. The bride-to-be allegedly replaced the traditional shaadi ke laddoos with macaroons. Earlier, Priyanka and Nick stopped by the Beverly Hills courthouse last week to fill out the necessary paperwork to obtain a marriage license in the United States.
