Kabir Singh, released this week, is the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster –Arjun Reddy – where Vijay Devarakonda plays the role of Arjun. Both the movies are directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Shahid Kapoor plays the role of Kabir Rajdheer Singh, who is a 'modern-day Devdas' and also a self-destructive man.
Story:
Shahid Kapoor (Kabir Rajdheer Singh) is a brilliant student and later becomes an orthopaedic surgeon with anger management issues. In his college days, he falls madly in love with a junior doctor, Kiara Advani (Preeti). However, their love story ends because of caste differences. Therefore, he turns into self-destruction as he turns into a womaniser, alcoholic and drug addict.
The Telugu version (Arjun Reddy) of the movie was a blockbuster down South, so it is said and assumed the Hindi remake is expected to create the same magic on the big screen this time too.

KRK: It's interval and till here #KabirSingh is very good film with few abuses. It has everything for youngsters. Kiara is looking so beautiful and innocent that everyone will fall in love with her. But it's frame to frame and scene to scene copy of #ArjunReddy!
