Hina Khan celebrates Independence Day on New York streets; see pics

TV actor Hina Khan hoisted the tricolour to mark the Indian Independence Day at the annual parade in New York, she was also seen shopping her heart out

TV popular star Hina Khan has shared some amazing pictures from her New York holiday. She was seen taking part in this year's Independence Day celebration parade organised in New York. Hina opted for an orange and golden striped saree, with a black half-sleeves blouse.

Hina shared the pics from the event and said that she could not have been more proud in representing India at a gathering as such. She wrote: "Representing your country is always a pleasure and if you get to do it in one of the most powerful countries of the world .. well , there can not be a privilege better than that! Holding the tricolour for my beloved country.. I endorse the idea that India is in the U.S.A and the idea it represents, humbly appreciate the warmth and inclusiveness of the people and this great atmosphere. Jai Hind! Hindostan Zindabad! Always, humeshaa.. (sic)."

She also shared few pictures from one of the world’s best shopping destinations, Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, around 46km from Manhattan. She was seen posing with a lot of branded shopping bags, from Coach to Diesel to Burberry etc.

Along with her boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal, Khan has been painting NYC streets pink and red.

In one of the pictures, Hina was seen posing in front of the historic Statue of Liberty.

Hina earlier showcased her debut film Lines at Cannes International Film Festival in May. She has also bagged a Bollywood movie opposite Rohan Shah produced by the banner of filmmaker Vikram Bhatt.
