British pornstar Danny D and his Indian co-star/girlfriend, Mahika Sharma are the highest paid contestants this year, with Rs 95 lakh per week
As fans of India's biggest reality TV show Bigg Boss and Salman Khan are gearing up for the 12th season, many rumours about the contestants and their remuneration are doing the rounds.
One of the rumours is about British porn star Danny D and his partner Mahika Sharma, who could be the highest-paid jodi.
According to a report in ABPLive, Danny D and Mahika Sharma are getting paid Rs 95 lakh per week – the highest among the contestants and the jodis.
According to reports, Danny is one of the richest American celebs, who owns a big adult production house and seven helicopters among other expensive things like houses around the world and a fleet of luxury cars. Danny’s real name is Matt Hughes and he earlier worked as a carpenter. He also married actress Sophie Knight.
Danny will be the second celebrity from the adult industry after Sunny Leone to have become a Bigg Boss housemate.
According to reports, couples Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, Siddharth Sagar and Subuhi Joshi, Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar and mother-son duo Vibha and Puru Chibber and estranged sisters Shafaq and Falak Naaz, have been approached for Bigg Boss 12. These pairs who will enter the show will not be couples who are romantically involved. They could either be friends, relatives or colleagues.
Reports also suggested that, this year, unlike earlier seasons, Salman Khan, the host, won’t be interacting with the contestants through the TV screen.
It will be something unique this season, Salman will be made to sit in a classroom and the screen will look like a blackboard, through which he will interact with the inmates. ‘Weekend ka vaar’ with Salman seems to be more fun this time.
Bigg Boss 12 will premiere on September 16 on Colors TV.
