The Karnataka high court heard the sexual harassment case filed by Kannada actress Sruthi Hariharan against actor Arjun Sarja. The lawyer representing Arjun Sarja said that there were prima facie fallacies in the complaint filed by Sruthi and that the complaint was absolutely based on her perception. A concocted, manicured effort was made to bring the complaint within the legal terms causing offence, the lawyer said. Petition sought quashing of the complaint and FIR against actor Arjun Sarja. The court heard everything at length, but as the court ran out of time, the matter is now posted to November 14. Meanwhile, the court has issued an interim order not to arrest Sarja. The lawyer said that in the next hearing, they will try to convince the court on how #MeToo movement was misused in this case, filed by actress Sruthi Hariharan.
