My First Vote video goes viral, reinforces power of democracy

Synopsis

The video titled ‘Let’s Vote’ is conceptualised by Tamil Nadu Young Thinkers forum and Aairah Films

Chennai: Out of 83 million first-time voters who are estimated to exercise their right to vote in the 2019 elections, 15 million voters are between the ages of 18-19.

A video has been dedicated to all first-time voters and also featured India’s first transgender lawyer, Sathyasri Sharmila among others. Making an unbiased appeal, the participants encourage the audience to vote.

It has been brought out in English to ensure pan India resonance. 

The video titled ‘Let’s Vote’ is conceptualised by the Tamil Nadu Young Thinkers Forum and Aairah Films. The forum focusses on enhancing the quality of public discourse in Tamil Nadu.
