Sub-title: The initiative celebrates student interns who used communication, confidence, and their personal networks to contribute to meaningful social welfare work.
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 25: Aapka Sahara Foundation is a nonprofit organization working toward social welfare, with a focus on supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of the elderly.
The foundation primarily operates from Mumbai and Basti district, Uttar Pradesh, and works to support vulnerable communities through welfare-driven initiatives. Its work is rooted in empathy, care, and community support, with the larger aim of creating a more responsible and compassionate society.
The Student Fundraising Internship by Aapka Sahara Foundation is a 2-week, remote, part-time opportunity designed for students based in India. As part of the internship, students participate as Fundraising Interns and raise donations online by reaching out to people within their own trusted networks, such as family members, relatives, friends, and other known contacts.
The internship is structured to help students build practical skills in communication, outreach, confidence, social responsibility, and fundraising. Instead of being limited to a certificate-based activity, the program encourages students to take initiative, explain a real cause, and actively contribute toward community welfare through their own efforts.
Beyond skill-building, the internship also helps students understand the value of empathy, responsibility, and contribution toward social causes. It gives them an opportunity to engage with real-world issues beyond classroom learning and experience how their voice, effort, and personal initiative can support meaningful community impact.
As part of its monthly recognition initiative, Aapka Sahara Foundation is highlighting student interns who actively participated in its fundraising drive, completed the required performance benchmark, and demonstrated strong initiative, consistency, and commitment toward the cause. These students used their communication skills and personal networks to raise awareness and support for meaningful social welfare work.
Among the recognized interns, Tess Deva stood out as the Top Achiever of the Month for showing exceptional commitment and performance during the fundraising drive.
Through consistent effort, clear communication, and active outreach within their personal network, Tess Deva made a meaningful contribution to the campaign and set an example for other student fundraisers. Their performance reflects how young students can create real impact when they combine initiative with purpose.
Tess Deva, Top Achiever of the Month, shared:
“Helping one person may not change the world, but it changes their world”
Along with the Top Achiever, Aapka Sahara Foundation also recognizes the efforts of other student interns who successfully contributed to the fundraising drive and completed the required performance benchmark.
