The way people apply for employment has changed dramatically throughout the years. The days of dull cover letters and boilerplate resumes have passed. Some applicants frequently demonstrate their unique talents and skills in innovative ways that capture attention and leave an indelible impression.

Antimetal CEO Matthew Parkhurst revealed one such event on X, in which he received an internship application along with a pizza package. The CV was placed at the top of the package by an applicant called, who was "super excited" about the chance. The US-based business offers cloud cost optimization technology.

The applicant also sent a handwritten note describing his desire to apply for the position of engineering intern at Antimetal. He stated in the note that the pizza was a "bribe" to the hiring staff to visit his website and review his work.

"Please enjoy this pizza, which was made by Antimetal's brief work experience at a service company. I've additionally brought a copy of my CV to apply for the engineering internship. I'm ecstatic about the opportunity and determined to do whatever it takes," reads the note supplied by the man.

Mr Parkhurst appreciated the idea and stated that David is "100% getting an interview".

"Another internship applicant - he came to our workplace and dropped off a pizza and his CV. He even pushed a PR to correct two links in our documentation. "100% getting an interview," the Antimetal CEO wrote on X.

The post received several responses from individuals who wanted to know if David would obtain the internship. "There's more to filter on than just effort," Mr Parkhurst said in response to a user.
