Bengaluru: Former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has exposed how the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has legitimised the Popular Front of India.

He referred to a letter written by the civic body's Executive Health Officer on May 18 to various hospitals in Mumbai. The letter deals with disposal of dead bodies.

In the letter, it is asked that the hospital in-charge inform 4 coordinators of the PFI as and when a Muslim Covid-19 patient dies.

It further mentions that the 'Task Force Team' from PFI would facilitate the burial of dead bodies of Muslims. At the same time, it adds that the BMC's decision shall be final in case of any dispute.

PFI is alleged to have involved itself in a lot of anti-national and anti-social activities. The former CM also put across a question to the incumbent CM Uddhav Thackeray if he agreed with what the BMC.

Maharashtra, being ruled by the NCP, Congress and Sena combine, has seen a phenomenal rise in the number of Covid-19 cases.

But what’s worse than the disease itself is the attitude of the Uddhav Thackeray government.

As many as 2 sadhus were lynched by a mob of 200 in District Palghar. But Uddhav Thackeray did not do anything to arrest the accused until he was shamed into doing it by visuals that went viral on social media.

A lady police officer was also shifted as she took on an SP leader Azmi. She was shifted to another police station as he raised objections over her attitude.

Shiv Sena, which always stood for Hindutva causes, has relinquished its very tenet.

Such appeasement by Uddhav Thackeray will make even Bal Thackeray, cry from heavens!
