Bengaluru: Three more Rafale jets took off from France and will be arriving in India. They will be flying a distance of 7000 kilometres. Reports add that the jets will be refuelled in the UAE.

The Indian embassy in France tweeted a video of the same.

This batch of three Rafales will be followed by a new batch of seven fighters. These seven fighters are likely to arrive in India by the end of April 2021.

The IAF will soon raise its second squadron of Rafale fighters, which will be based at the Hasimara Air Force Station in West Bengal, Swarajya noted.
