Influencer and author Ankur Warikoo recently took to his Instagram and shared a moving experience from his life along with a transformation picture showcasing his 6-pack abs. He discussed being diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis, a medical condition which happens due to the lack of blood supply to a bone or a tissue in the body. 

He wrote a long caption, sharing his journey and what motivated him to get into fitness and attain 6-pack abs. The caption states, "In 2012, at the age of 32, I was told to stop walking. I was diagnosed with a medical condition called Avascular Necrosis. My right hip bone had started decaying because the blood supply to it had stopped..."

 

He also opened up about not being able to walk after the surgery and using crutches for 5 months. He wrote, "It felt like my life was going to change. I underwent surgery. Was on bed rest for 3 months. Crutches for 5 months. I recovered, but…"

After recovering he decided to take the control in his hands and started preparing for a marathon. "In a moment of craziness, I decided I will run a marathon! I joined a gym for the first time in my life. And started to run," he wrote. 

After running the half marathon he desired something new and decided to workout to attain 6-pack abs. "And in another moment of craziness, at the age of 33, I found myself saying 6-pack abs! My body fat percentage as of that day was 26%. Abs show when body fat reaches sub-10% levels! I needed to change my entire life. My diet, my sleep schedule, my fitness regime. And I did. I got the 6-pack abs. I got fit. Working out became a daily affair," he wrote, sharing his journey to 6-pack abs. 

He recently turned 43 and decided to go through this journey again and achieved 6-pack abs in his 40s. "Today, I am 43 and “fat-free”! And I know that this routine, lifestyle, and mindset which started 10yrs back, will stay with me for life," he wrote. 

Many users commented on the post, congratulating him on his achievement. One user wrote, "Sir ka sirf Financial hi nahi health portfolio bhi green hogay hai," talking about his all-rounder profile.
