Gukesh D is a chess grandmaster and prodigy who recently showcased his brilliance and capabilities at the FIDE Candidates Tournament 2024. At the mere age of 17, he achieved a chess rating of 2758, making him the youngest in the world to do so. He is also the youngest to win the FIDE Candidates tournament.

The entire nation is beaming with pride right now, and tons of wishes and blessings are being showered on the 17-year-old chess genius from all corners of the country.

Anand Mahindra, a successful Indian businessman and philanthropist, also joined the Gukesh fan club and made a post on X (formerly Twitter), congratulating the young man and expressing how proud he feels. He wrote, "The ICEMAN prevails!! He comes from a swelteringly hot state, but he's shown he can keep his cool even when competitive heat is at its peak. Just 17 years old, @DGukesh has a long and shining future ahead of him. And so does Indian Chess. An entire nation stands and Cheers this Chaturanga Champ.
