In a surprising twist, Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan is rumored to be gearing up for a role as a don in his upcoming film, 'King,' alongside his daughter Suhana Khan. Contrary to expectations, this role is not for the much-anticipated 'Don 3,' starring Ranveer Singh. Reports suggest that Shah Rukh will be delving into the realm of grey characters reminiscent of his original 'Don' portrayal.

According to a source cited by Pinkvilla, 'King' is a passion project for Shah Rukh Khan, who is keenly attuned to his audience's desire to see him in morally ambiguous roles. Collaborating with director Sujoy Ghosh and producer Siddharth Anand, Shah Rukh is said to be deeply involved in shaping the character, infusing it with attitude and swag.

The insider revealed that Shah Rukh Khan's character in 'King' will sport long hair and a faint beard, reminiscent of his appearance in 'Don 2.' With the character design finalized, Siddharth Anand is reportedly focusing on crafting high-octane action sequences with international stunt teams, while Sujoy Ghosh is honing the dialogue draft.

In an intriguing development, Shah Rukh Khan is also said to be training with Suhana Khan on cutting-edge action sequences for the film, indicating a dynamic on-screen collaboration between father and daughter.
