Know why Vinesh Phogat got disqualified from Paris Olympics final

Vinesh Phogat who was in the row for the gold medal in the Paris Olympics finals in wrestling was disqualified from the event due to being overweight. 

Vinesh Phogat showed a stellar performance in the Paris Olympics and defeated Japanese wrestler Yui Susaki and entered the finals. However, now she has been disqualified. 

Vinesh Phogat was 2 kg overweight on Tuesday night. She worked hard all night to lose the extra weight and was found 100 gm overweight on the day of the weigh-in. 

The Olympics denied the Indian delegation's request to give some time to Vinesh Phogat to lose the 100 gm weight. Due to this Vinesh will now be last in the 50 kg event.
