Celebrate Lohri and Makar Sankranti with the sweetness of traditional Kesar Malai Ladoo.
If you’ve never tried making ladoos before, then we’ve got the perfect recipe for you.
1 kg paneer 250 gm cream 2 cup powdered sugar ½ cup cashews 1 tsp chopped pistachios 1 pinch of kesar 5-6 cardamom 1 pinch yellow food colour
Take a pan and heat cream in it for 5 minutes. Once the cream thickens, add grated paneer to it and stir the mixture properly.
When the mixture takes a thick consistency, add half cup milk and kesar to it. After mixing all the ingredients, add the yellow food colour.
After the mixture achieves a thick consistency, turn off the heat. Add powdered sugar when it is still a little warm. Then add cashews and pistachios.
Let the mixture cool down. Shape the mixture into small balls and add kesar on top for garnishing. Your ladoos are ready!
