UPSC: Delhi Girl Who Became an IAS Officer After Five Failed Attempts

Priyanka Goel, hailing from New Delhi, failed in UPSC exams a total of five times. However, with perseverance, she eventually cracked UPSC in her sixth attempt. 
 

Priyanka Goel earned her BCom degree from Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Delhi University. In her first UPSC attempt, she couldn’t even clear the prelims. 
 

In her second attempt, she failed the exams with a narrow margin of just 0.7 marks.
 

During the pandemic, her mother faced severe health issues due to which she could not clear the UPSC exams.
 

Her hard work and perseverance paid off when she secured the 369th rank in the UPSC 2022 exam. 
 

Priyanka Goel achieved her dream of becoming an IAS officer in her 6th attempt. She has a fanbase of over 2 lakh followers on social media.
