Sonali discontinued her studies after grade 7, due to financial constraints. She has four siblings. 

Sonali has been working as a mehndi artist since she was 7. It made her self-reliant but she missed out on her studies.

Her brother introduced her to Instagram Reels in 2020. She then created her Instagram account. 

Sonali shares both lip sync and mehndi videos on her Instagram page. Many of her videos have gone viral. 

Many celebrities follow her Instagram page. Bollywood actress, Priyanka Chopra has shared one of Sonali's videos. 

Sonali collected her earnings and established a clothing and artificial jewellery shop. 

Sonali not only charges Rs 5000 for bridal mehndi but also offers it for free for those who cannot afford it. 

Sonali wishes to become a makeup artist and is actively pursuing her passion by learning from YouTube tutorials.

Impressed by her skills, Sonali’s international fan sent her a makeup kit worth Rs 20,000.
