The Covid-19 pandemic put an end to Simran Gupta’s modelling aspirations. 
 

Simran’s father works in the private sector, and her brother has a disability. Simran’s mother suffers from severe health issues.

In 2018, Simran’s passion for modelling led her to win the title of Miss Gorakhpur. 
 

Simran received modelling offers from Delhi and Jaipur, but the pandemic disrupted her plans. 
 

Covering the household expenses became challenging. Simran secured a job in the electricity department in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh. 
 

The troubles increased when Simran did not receive her salary for five months. 
 

Simran decided to start her own business. She sought inspiration from ‘BA Chai Wali’. 
 

Simran established her stall near Digvijayanath PG College of Gorakhpur University.
