From RBI Job to UPSC Rank 6: Srishti Dabas's Inspiring Story

Rajasthan's administrative cadre recently welcomed several IAS officers, including Srishti Dabas from the 2024 batch, originally from Delhi.

Born on October 13, 1998, Srishti studied at Ganga International School, Delhi, and earned a BA from Indraprastha College, followed by an MA in Political Science.

Srishti Dabas worked as a Second Grade officer in the HR branch of the Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai. Despite this, she aspired to clear the UPSC exam.

Srishti dedicated her days to her job and nights to studying, clearing the UPSC exam in her first attempt in 2023.

Srishti Dabas achieved an All India Rank of 6, securing a spot in the top ten. Besides academics, she is a talented Kathak dancer with a significant social media following.

Srishti is among the youngest IAS officers in the country. Her beauty and simplicity are frequently discussed on social media.

Her mother single-handedly raised her. Witnessing her mother's struggles, Srishti resolved to make a difference in women's lives.
