Preeti receives assignments from various districts and states. She has organized theme based events in Bihar, Nepal, and Lucknow.

The District Magistrate of Basti, Priyanka Bharti gave the responsibility of organizing her child’s birthday event to Preeti.

Preeti’s work involves travelling from one location to another. She manages approximately 8 to 10 events in a month.

The first assignment

In 2003, Preeti received her first order of making 40 Santa Claus figurines. She earned Rs 1600 from her first assignment.

Supporting livelihoods

Graudually, with the increasing workload, Preeti hired over a dozen people to work with. Her business now supports the livelhihoods of 80 households.
