Oshin Sharma: Rejecting film offers to become a PCS officer

Oshin Sharma has been serving as a Himachal Administrative Service officer. In the year 2019, she was first appointed as a BDO.
 

In March 2021, Oshin Sharma cracked the HAS exam again, and joined the HAS cadre. She has served in Kangra, Hamirpur, and Bilaspur. 
 

Oshin Sharma remains active on social media platforms and guides aspirants to prepare for competitive exams. 
 

Oshin Sharma’s father, Bhuvanesh Sharma holds the position of Naib Tehsildar in Kangra. Her mother is also a government worker.
 

Initially, Oshin Sharma aspired to become a doctor but her family encouraged her to pursue civil services. 
 

Oshin Sharma received film offers, but she declined them due to her family’s disapproval.
 

Instead, Oshin Sharma decided to pursue a career in civil services to serve her community.
