Legal drinking age in Maharashtra

Maharashtra allows individuals over 21 to have light beers and wine. However, to consume hard liquor, individuals need to be 25 or older.

Goa, J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Ladakh, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Sikkim, and Tamil Nadu. These states allows alcohol to people over 18.

Kerala is the only state in India with a drinking age of 23. It is raised from the previous age of 21.
