Ajay Kumar pursued an engineering degree from IIT Kanpur and then embarked on his journey to prepare for the UPSC exams.
Ajay Kumar became an IPS officer in his first attempt in the year 2018. However, he aspired to become an IAS, so he persisted in his preparations.
He is presently serving as the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Bilariganj, Moradabad.
Ajay Kumar shares that he was the only one from his village to take admission in IIT.
He considers it his responsibility to provide village students with better educational opportunities.
