National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has announced an increase in toll rates on the Uttar Pradesh’s highways.
From midnight on June 2, new toll tax rates will come into effect. The rates have been increased ranging from Rs 5 to Rs 25.
The new toll tax rates were to be implemented from April 1, 2024. However, it was postponed due to the elections.
After the conclusion of the voting phase, NHAI has introduced the new toll tax rates.
On Meerut-Baghpat Highway, the lowest toll tax is Rs 45 and the highest is Rs 295, as per the new rates.
On Delhi-Saharanpur NH, the lowest toll tax is Rs 90 and the highest is Rs 890.
On Jhansi-Kanpur Highway, the rates have increased ranging from Rs 5 to Rs 15.
