The real name of KGF star Yash is Naveen Kumar Gowda. He was born in Karnataka. His father is employed in the KSRTC department. 
 

Yash spent his early childhood in Mysore. He attended Mahajan High School and completed his studies till grade 12.
 

After completing his schooling, Yash joined a theatre group. Following his passion for acting, he came to Bangalore at the age of 16 with just Rs 300. 
 

Yash began his career as an assistant director and later transitioned to acting. At the time, he used to earn Rs 50 per day.
 

In 2004, Yash landed a lead role in a drama ‘Gokul Neelkamala.’ Alongside his theatre career, he appeared in television shows like ‘Uttarayan,’ ‘Nanda Gokular,’ and ‘Malebillu.’
 

Yash made his film debut with ‘Jambada Hudugi’ in the year 2007. He gained significant attention with his role in the 2009 film ‘Kallara Santhe.’
 

 On 9 December 2016, Yash tied the knot with Radhika Pandit. They are parents to a son named Yatharva and a daughter named Arya. 
 

Yash gained nationwide popularity with the release of the 2018 film ‘KGF Chapter 1.’ The sequel of the movie did a business of Rs 1215 crore. 
 

According to media reports, Yash’s total assets amount to Rs 65 crore.
