IAF’s leading aircraftman from Andhra Pradesh dies after rifle misfire in Sriganganagar

Amaravati: Leading aircraftman of the Indian Air Force (IAF), P Lavanya Prakash, allegedly died on the spot on Wednesday (June 26) when he was cleaning his rifle and it misfired. The victim is a resident of Machlipatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
After the postmortem, the mortal remains have been handed over to Prakash's family members.
Initially, it was reported that Prakash shot himself dead. But, the investigation revealed that his rifle misfired while he was cleaning it.
