Congress-JDS embarrassed by Hassan representatives' support to BJP
Local party workers embarrassed Congress and JD(S) leaders as they refused to campaign for Prajwal Revanna and said they will vote for BJP candidate A Manju instead.
Karnataka PWD minister and JD(S) leader HD Revanna and local Congress leaders were left red-faced when Congress workers shouted slogans against the party and said that they will support the BJP on Friday. Congress workers refused to campaign for JD(S) candidate Prajwal Revanna, who is supported by Congress in the Hassan constituency. It was an embarrassment for the coalition government as the local party workers said that they will support A Manju, a candidate from BJP, who had quit the party and joined the BJP recently after he was not given the ticket to contest from Hassan.
