Thrissur Pooram  

India is home to many beautiful and awe-inspiring temples, some of the most famous of which are: The Amarnath temple in Jammu, The Brihadishwara temple in Mamallapuram, The Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi, The Golden temple in Amritsar, and The Jagannath temple in Puri. These temples represent India's diverse cultures and histories and have unique histories, architecture, and traditions that make them special.

From the Char Dham temple circuit in the North to the Vaishnodevi temple in the South, India is home to numerous religious sites. But there are some sacred sites that are considered to be more important than the rest, and these are known as the most revered temple sites in India.

 The Supreme Court today (April 11) allowed fireworks for the Pooram celebration in Thrissur while observing that the celebration is a part of the social and cultural ethos of Thrissur
