Sajjan Kumar In 1984 Anti Sikh Riots  

The Supreme Court has rejected bail to Sajjan Kumar in the 1984 Anti-Sikh riots case   
 

The two-judge bench of the Delhi high court lauded the witnesses for having stood their ground. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), departing from the negative media glare that it received in recent times, got a pat on the back.

The court also upheld the life imprisonment sentences of ex-Congress councillor Balwan Khokhar, retired Navy officer Captain Bhagmal and Girdhari Lal. The sentences of former MLA Mahendra Yadav and Kishan Khokhar have been increased from three to 10 years of imprisonment.
