National Education Policy 2019 draft: Centre drops mandatory teaching of Hindi
After Tamil Nadu was in up in arms against the Centre’s draft of the National Education Policy, the Centre has decided to forgo the provision that mandates teaching of Hindi to non-Hindi speaking states.
