    Festival of democracy: Karnataka all set to vote in phase 1 of Lok Sabha polls

    Karnataka chief electoral officer Sanjiv Kumar held a presser on Wednesday evening, a day ahead of the first phase of polling in the state. As many as 30,164 polling booths have been set up across the fourteen constituencies, 1,54,262 polling staff will be in attendance and as many as 40,000 police personnel will be in charge of security across the fourteen constituencies.
