MHA escalates security amid increasing violence in Bengal
MHA, after taking into consideration the sensitivity of Jungle Mahal area (LWE affected) and previous incidents during elections, has deployed 602 companies of Central Armed Police Forces (CRPF, BSF, CISF, SSB, ITBP, RPF, RAF) and 111 Companies of State Armed Police for election duties.
