Sumalatha gave a befitting reply to Karnataka transport minister DC Thammanna's statement following the anger against people voting for Sumalatha instead of Nikhil
 

Karnataka Transport minister DC Thammanna’s incendiary remarks against Mandya citizens for not having cast their vote for chief minister HD Kumaraswamy’s son have gone viral, inviting criticism. But certainly, he is not the first one (and hopefully, the last one) who has entered the infamous inventory of JDS politicians for not possessing the quality of savoir-faire (the ability to do and say the right thing in any social situation)

 

Karnataka transport minister DC Thammanna was caught on camera abusing people of Mandya during an event. He was seen questioning people if they were not ashamed to ask him for favours. All this after  JDS candidate Nikhil Kumaraswamy was defeated in the recent Lok Sabha election. Independent candidate Sumalatha emerged victorious.
