A lawyer by name Shiva Reddy has filed a complaint against former Karnataka Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar for an alleged fraud that took place during his term as health minister, as elucidated in a Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report

 

Amid the allegation of misuse of Rs 35,000 crore mentioned in the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report, the BJP accused former CM Siddaramaiah of taking the escape route fearing backlash from the BJP during the Belagavi winter session. The CAG noted that there was a manipulation in identifying the lowest bidder to be awarded the contract by including contract product support in one contract (EADS) and non-inclusion for Boeing

The revelation made by the CAG puts a serious question mark on the utility of the Boeing spy planes as their main operational role is to track the presence of enemy vessels operating in or around Indian waters
