Dy Chandrachud  

CJI Chandrachud inaugurated the Holistic Wellness Centre at the Supreme Court premises on 22 February 2024. He addressed the attendees after the ceremony and mentioned in his speech about his dedication to maintaining good health.

The Sabarimala verdict has been referred to a larger bench by the Supreme Court. The 2018 saw a 4:1 split verdict but the November 14 saw a 3:2 split verdict with Justice JY Chandrachud and Justice Nariman expressing dissent.

The order will be passed by a five-judge bench comprising Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Justices NV Ramana, DY Chandrachud, Deepak Gupta and Sanjiv Khanna. The bench had reserved the order on April 4.
