Doctor in Karnataka takes bribe to treat patients
Two patients, who were decoys, turned up at the clinic. Unaware of the sting operation, Dr Srinivas openly accepted the bribe at Malur Government Hospital, Karnataka.
Malur: The Karnataka Government Hospital is once again in news for the wrong reasons. Dr Srinivas from Malur government hospital near Bengaluru was caught red-handed while demanding a bribe to treat patients. Hospital administrator Dr Vasanth Kumar has assured a departmental inquiry in this regard and has referred the matter to the health directorate.
