Kanpur: A tea seller in Kanpur has done India proud and former cricketer VVS Laxman can't stop praising this most deserving man.

VVS Laxman took to Twitter to appreciate the efforts of Mohammad Mahboob Malik, a tea seller in a petty shop in Kanpur, who takes care of educating 40 children from his earnings.

"He has a small tea shop and spends 80% of his income on the education of these children. What an inspiration!" wrote VVS Laxman, wrote on Twitter.

Mahboob Malik is a 29-year-old youth, who has started a school for the underprivileged children and provides them free education.

Malik  runs a school at Sharda Nagar in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He started the school in 2015. Since then, he has been using 80% of his earnings in educating 40 children, who cannot afford to go to other schools.

Malik has built a make-shift shed and teaches children there. He runs the school under the non-government organisation 'Maa Tujhe Salaam'. Malik also provides these children with text books, stationery and uniforms.

According to reports, Malik was born into an economically backward family. He had to discontinue education in high school. Thus, he wanted to make sure that children who cannot afford to pay fees and go to school must at least get basic education.

The tweet shared by VVS Laxman has been liked by more than 27,500 people and people have praised Malik and calling him an inspiration.
