Bengaluru: Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy has reacted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's comment about him being ‘remote controlled’ in the state government by the Congress.
Speaking to media persons, Kumaraswamy said, "Prime Minister is not wrong in saying it."
Kumaraswamy went on to say that the reason PM Modi thinks he is remote controlled is because the decisions are made by someone else and executed by another.
"Decisions I make in order to run the state are not always executed by me. Someone else will do it too," said Kumaraswamy.
The chief minister also challenged Modi for discussions on the work they have done.
"I'm willing to discuss what I have done as a chief minister and what he has done as Prime Minister," said Kumaraswamy.
While addressing a rally in Kalaburagi on Wednesday, Modi said, "This Congress, which reached the corridors of power by stabbing the people of Karnataka, and the chief minister who is being run on remote control, have not yet given the list of beneficiary farmers to the Central government."

PM Modi alleged that the Central government’s scheme to benefit marginal farmers has no beneficiaries in Karnataka as the state government had not provided the Centre with the list.
He had also said that the Congress-JD(S) state government, instead of waiving all the farm loans, had filed cases against farmers.
