BJP MP Shobha: Karnataka boy ‘murdered and hanged’ for protecting cows

Belagavi: A19-year-old boy was found dead in the APMC Yard in Karnataka's Belagavi on Sunday (May 26). The traders who came to the yard saw Shivu Uppar's body hanging from the ceiling of the building and informed the police.

According to reports, the 19-year-old boy was a Bajrang Dal activist, and they have reportedly stated that it was a murder and not suicide and have sought a detailed inquiry. Based on this information, Belagavi Police have registered a complaint.

MP and Karnataka BJP leader Shobha Karandlaje expressed her grief and claimed that the boy only tried to prevent cattle smuggling. She also demanded the state chief minister HD Kumaraswamy to look into the incident and arrest the culprits.
