Karnataka: One dead, 50 injured after roof collapses in Ballari

A 14-year-old girl named Usha died and 50 more were injured after a house's roof collapsed in Karnataka's Ballari district ahead of Muharram. The incident occurred at the house of Chigari Yankanna at Hosapete, Chittawadgi. A stampede ensued at the gathering and that caused more injuries. The girl died out of suffocation after being covered by the debris.
