Wayanad: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is on a four-day visit to Wayanad. He started his tour to the flood-hit constituency in Kerala on August 27.

During his visit, as media reporters were interviewing Rahul Gandhi who was seated inside his car, a man walked up to him and planted a kiss on his cheek. This video captured by ANI has gone viral on social media.

 

Rahul Gandhi was elected MP from Wayanad in the recent Lok Sabha poll.  As part of the visit, on August 27, he was also spotted at a tea stall at Kanjirangad village in Wayanad. The MP is accompanied by senior Congress leader KC Venugopal.

Rahul visited flood-affected areas and spoke to people in rehabilitation centres. On the second day of his visit, Rahul wrote a letter to Union ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, Harsh Vardhan and Nitin Gadkari seeking help for flood-hit people in Wayanad.

"I’m in my parliamentary constituency, Wayanad, for the next few days, visiting flood relief camps and reviewing rehabilitation work in the area. Much has been accomplished, but there’s so much more that still needs to be done," tweeted Rahul Gandhi.
