Congress’s Roshan Baig hosts Muslim convention, eyes Bengaluru Central LS seat to defeat BJP

Having been denied a Cabinet berth in the HD Kumaraswamy-led Congress-JD(S) coalition government, senior Congress leader R Roshan Baig aspires to contest the next year’s Lok Sabha election from Bengaluru Central. Baig recently hosted a Muslim convention in Bengaluru in which top Moulanas from Delhi were present. Baig is not the only aspirant, MLA Rizwan Arshad, Congress leader Saleem Ahmed are also aiming the seat.
