The BJP in Maharashtra led by Devendra Fadnavis has decided to approach the Governor and if need be, the Supreme Court as the party claims that the Maharashtra Assembly flouted rules, as per the liking of the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress. Fadnavis alleged that the oath administered to the MLAs were also unconstitutional. 
 

A Mumbai based astrologer has predicted that Uddhav Thackeray-led government will not last long and will soon hit rock bottom. Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray was sworn-in as Maharashtra’s chief minister. 

Devendra Fadnavis steps down as Maharashtra CM saying that they have no enough numbers. This comes after Ajit Pawar resigned as deputy chief minister of Maharashtra. Earlier today, the Supreme Court had ordered a floor test on November 27 at 5pm. 

The Centre is expected to produce letters of support to the Supreme Court at 10 30am. A three-judge bench also issued a notice to Devendra Fadnavis, his deputy CM Ajit Pawar, the state and the Central government.

 After BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the chief minister of Maharashtra, the Congress in the state have taken all their MLAs to a resort in Bhopal. Sources said that the Shiv Sena have shifted their MLAs to Jaipur. 

Speaking to MyNation, BJP chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao said that Shiv Sena is trying to join hands with the opportunistic Congress and NCP as they are driven by the thirst for power. He further explained how the Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP lack on working in sync towards the welfare of people of Maharashtra.
 

President Ram Nath Kovind accepted the resignation of Arvind Sawant and has now handed over the heavy industries portfolio to Union minister Prakash Javadekar. Javadekar is already in charge of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Shiv Sena's Arvind Sawant, who is the union minister for heavy industries, resigned from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet. His resignation has now been accepted by President Ram Nath Kovind. 

BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has urged the Shiva Sena to join the BJP and form the government.

Political wobbling continues in Maharashtra as BJP and Shiva Sena do not unite to form a government. 

A poster depicting Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray as the chief minister was erected outside the residence of Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai’s Matoshree. The poster has been allegedly put up by Shiv Sena corporator Haji Halim Khan.

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has expressed confidence that the party may be able to gather the required numbers to form a stable government in Maharashtra. The BJP and Shiv Sena are unable to come to a consensus while Congress is currently on “wait and watch” mode.      

Shiv Sena leaders have decided to meet Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari to discuss farmer issues. Party chief Uddhav Thackeray chaired a meeting of Shiv Sena leaders in Mumbai.
 

New options to form the government may emerge if the Shiv Sena decides to join hands with the Congress and the NCP, else the BJP may form a minority government like it did in 2014. For Shiv Sena, taking the support of NCP or Congress has its own complications as the two parties will never approve Shiv Sena's core ideas like Hindutva and Ram temple among others.
