In November, a five-judge Supreme Court bench unanimously said the entire disputed land spread over 2.7 acres would be handed over to a trust formed by the government, which will monitor the construction of a Ram temple at the site

While on one hand the All India Muslim Personal Law Board held a meeting and decided to file a review petition against the Supreme Court's verdict on awarding the disputed land to Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas, on the other hand, Shia Waqf Board chief Wasim Rizvi donated Rs 51,000 to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas.
 

In a unanimous verdict, the Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi has held that Hindus would get the disputed land in Ayodhya while the Muslims would be given an alternate land of five acres for a mosque.
