Lead actors Yash and Srinidhi Shetty, along with director Prashanth Neel visited Kodandaram temple at Vijayanagar, in Bengaluru, to seek God's blessings before the big beginning.

KGF's female lead Srinidhi Shetty looked beautiful at the Muhartam ceremony. She donned a blue-and-white salwar kameez with her hair let loose. On the other hand, Yash was seen wearing a white kurta with blue jeans.

It is the first Sandalwood movie to have grossed over Rs 100 crore at the box office. The action-drama went on to create new records and break several more that were set by previous films. According to reports, KGF has made around a massive Rs 250 crore at the worldwide box office. The excitement for KGF: Chapter 2 among fans is at an all-time high. 

The first chapter of KGF ended with Rocky (Yash) revolting against the mine lords. And the second part will take off from there, while including the antagonist Inayat Ali Khan into the scenes.

According to reports, KGF makers have roped in Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon in the mega movie. If the grapevine is to be believed, then, this will mark Raveena's return to Kannada cinema after almost two decades. She previously played the lead in Upendra's Upendra. 

The move will also draw the attention of the entire country towards the Kannada film industry and their superstar Yash.
