Chennai: In a tragic turn of events, a focus light hanging from a crane fell on an electrician named Selvaraj, who was standing beneath the light. He was seriously injured. The victim was rushed to a nearby private hospital for medical treatment.

According to reports, it is said that the team resumed shooting after he was admitted to the hospital. Later, actor Vijay visited the hospital to check on the victim's health condition.

The report further stated that the team was shooting a crucial football scene in EVP Studios where a stadium costing Rs 6 crore was set up before the mishap.

The film, yet to be titled, is being shot in and around Chennai and AGS Entertainment is the producer for the film.

Earlier, the untitled film grabbed headlines with rumours suggesting that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is said to be playing the antagonist in the movie.

However, after a very long time, actor Nayanthara has been roped in to play the lead role along with Vijay.

Varsha Bollamma, Devadarshini, Jackie Shroff and Kathir have joined the cast. The film is expected to release for the upcoming Deepavali this year.
